About the studio
A small studio with big standards
Blaskito Studios is an independent software studio. We build games and creative tools, and we sweat the details that make software feel good to use.
Our story
Blaskito Studios started with a simple frustration: creative software had become slow, bloated and rented by the month. We wanted tools that open instantly, respect the machine they run on and belong to the people who buy them.
Today the studio is building three products in parallel. Polygone Rogue is a fast, chaotic arena shooter written in Rust. OpenDAW is an open-source digital audio workstation built on JUCE and Tracktion Engine. And our RAW photo editor brings a full non-destructive workflow and catalog to photographers who don't want a subscription.
We are small on purpose. That keeps us close to the people who use what we make, and it lets us say no to anything that doesn't make the software better.
What we believe
Craft over features
A feature that's fast, predictable and well designed beats three that are half done.
